FAFSA will undergo significant changes starting in the 2024-2025 school year due to the FAFSA Simplification Act passed in 2020. The changes will affect the application form, need analysis, terminology, policies, and procedures for schools participating in federal student aid programs.

Most Union students receive significant financial aid towards tuition and living expenses. Both merit-based and need-based scholarships, as well as grants, are available to new and continuing students. Over 90% of Union students receive some form of financial assistance.
