Unitarian Universalists (UU) Commissioning

This Year-End Blessing ceremony is now a tradition for Unitarian
Universalists studying at Union. Come celebrate the great vibrancy of this
liberal faith by honoring those UU seminarians who are graduating this
year and by helping us commission them in the ministries they are poised
to offer the wider world.

Wednesday, May 11th

Students of Color Commissioning

James Chapel

The Student of Color Commissioning is a celebration of the achievements
and a rite of passage for graduates of color as they prepare to engage
with the world beyond the halls of Union Theological Seminary. This
special commissioning embraces and mirrors ceremonies that signify a rite
of passage in many cultural histories of communities of color.
