The quality of the conference experience depends on your full participation. In order to build community and best ensure a productive conference experience, attendees are expected to participate fully in all conference activities. Because of the competitive application process, all accepted applicants must commit to the full conference participation upon confirmation of admission.
These commitments include:
- I will show up prepared to engage in the conference by participating in pre-conference surveys and travel and logistical requirements.
- I will fully participate and engage in conference events and experiences. The conference will take top priority and I will not make other commitments that would cause me to miss any scheduled activities.
- I will give and receive knowledge and resources in the service of building an engaged learning community.
- I will respect the shared and safe space of the community, which includes full confidentiality, listening through disagreements, and a commitment to dialogue.
