Erin Hancock is a 3rd year Master of Divinity student from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is concentrating in Social Ethics with a particular interest in sexual and reproductive ethics. Erin is a co-chair of the Seminarians for Reproductive Justice caucus at Union. Some of her favorite activities include running, hiking, cooking, traveling, and exploring the city.
Nyya Toussaint is a second year MA student studying Church and Society while also attaining a Master’s in International Affairs at The New School. He was born and raised in Lawrence, NJ but before Union studied in Miami, Florida. Having grown up in the charismatic movement, he brings to Union his heart for worship, justice, and finding leadership potential within the typically oppressed. Nyya loves learning languages, going to the beaches, and living in the City!
Maryann Verghese is a third-year Master of Divinity student from Rancho Santa Margarita, California. She is concentrating in Social Ethics with a specific interest in ethically and theologically-informed resistance to criminal justice issues. She is considering ordination in the PC(USA). Maryann has previously served as co-chair of the 2017-2018 Student Senate and the Asian & Pacific Islander Caucus at Union. Her interests include stories, water polo, music, sports, travel, and exploring.
