Because of confidentiality issues, we cannot accept email requests for transcripts. We will not process requests unaccompanied by payment.

We cannot overnight or FAX transcripts, nor can we accept credit cards for payment. Please allow enough time for your transcript request to be processed.

To order a transcript, please send your request in writing, along with a check or money order for $5.00 per request to:

When requesting a transcript, please include the following information to help us expedite your request:

  • Your name while at Union
  • Your Degree program
  • Dates of attendance
  • Date of Degree
  • Address(es) of recipient(s)
  • Your current address and telephone number

Alumni/ae Records

Requests for alumni/ae records need to be made in writing and sent to the Alumni/ae Office. The cost of researching and copying records begins at $50.00. There is no charge for confirming that someone is an alumnus/a or confirming a date of graduation. Send requests to Kevin McGee.

The Burke Library

Union Theological Seminary alumni/ae have reading privileges without any fee. The Library is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Union Theological Seminary alumni/ae have borrowing privileges at a reduced rate.

All Union alumni/ae can now access ATLASerials® (ATLAS®) free of charge. ATLASerials is an online collection of more than one-hundred major religion and theology journals selected by leading religion scholars and theologians. Through this platform users can research the history of a topic from as early as 1924 to the present through more than 211,000 articles and book reviews combined.

Currently, users are able to use ATLAS as a search tool to retrieve PDFs of the pages in more than one-hundred different journals, with fully searchable text that allows for keyword proximity and citation set searches.
