Dharma & Justice Dialogues: An Evening with Mohsen Mahdawi

Please join the Thích Nhât Hanh Program for Engaged Buddhism for an evening of dynamic dialogue and reflection with Palestinian peace activist Mohsen Mahdawi.
Mohsen is a peacebuilder currently studying at Columbia University’s School of International Affairs. He has been a prominent advocate for Palestinian rights and an outspoken voice for spiritually engaged nonviolence. In April 2025, he was detained by ICE during his naturalization interview in Vermont and subsequently released by a federal judge, while his legal case remains ongoing. In this moderated conversation, Mohsen will share about his ongoing organizing work, Buddhist practice, and perspectives on peace and justice.
This event is being co-sponsored by the Fellowship of Reconciliation-USA and the New England Peace Pagoda.
