Join Union Theological Seminary for a Virtual Lecture & Discussion event, hosted by the Center for Community Engagement and Social Justice (CCESJ). This is a unique opportunity to meet Dr. Guy Shalev, medical anthropologist and Executive Director of Physicians for Human Rights – Israel.
The first half of the session will be a lecture, as Dr. Shalev shares insights into his career, expertise, and perspective on the forefront of the struggle for human rights — the right to health in particular — in Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territory, with an emphasis on conditions in Gaza. The second half will be dedicated to a curated Q&A, so please come prepared with your questions!
