Interreligious Seder for Liberation: Order, Re-Order & Revelation
90 Claremont Avenue
New York
NY 10027

In a time when the moral fabric of our world feels increasingly strained, this gathering invites us to pause, reflect, and imagine what liberation asks of us now.
Co-imagined by Rabbi Mike Moskowitz and Union Theological Seminary’s Office of Alumni Engagement, the Interreligious Seder for Liberation welcomes both Jewish and non-Jewish participants into the spiritual depth, ethical imagination, and liberatory power of the Seder tradition.
Rooted in the ancient movement from bondage to freedom, this public ritual creates space for revelation — of truth, of responsibility, and of our shared capacity to help build a more just and courageous world.
The evening will be guided by Rabbi Mike Moskowitz, with reflections woven throughout the Seder from Dr. Cornel West, Rev. Dr. Serene Jones, Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, and religious leaders from across traditions.
Together, we will gather at a communal table to reflect on liberation, belonging, exile, moral courage, and the work of justice in our time.
A kosher vegetarian meal will be served.
Congregations and faith communities are warmly invited to attend as communities.
Group registration is available, and we would be honored to welcome your congregation to the table.
Space will be limited.
