Join us for a thought-provoking online seminar hosted by Union Theological Seminary (UTS), led by prominent figures from the Morningside Heights Community Coalition (MHCC), and featuring guest experts. This seminar delves into the rich history and current realities of Morningside Heights, highlighting its legacy of activism, advocacy, and community solidarity.
Over the seminar of three engaging virtual sessions, participants will explore the historical forces that have shaped this diverse neighborhood and the ongoing efforts of local residents to foster social justice and neighborhood preservation. This seminar is designed to inform, inspire, and empower participants through a deeper understanding of the community’s past and its vibrant present.
