Religious Persecution Around The World: The Christmas Season, Christians, and Religious Violence in Nigeria

Join Union Theological Seminary for a Virtual Panel & Discussion event, sponsored by the Center for Community Engagement and Social Justice (CCESJ) and moderated by current Union student Ibrahim Sambo Lawan on “The Christmas Season, Christians, and Religious Violence in Nigeria.”
The panel brings together Nigerian leaders and scholars from various sectors to discuss the country’s current landscape of religious conflict and violence from a Christian perspective, highlighting the hope, courage, and spiritual strength that are helping communities move toward peace. Please note that this event is part of a two-part series. We will host a follow-up conversation next semester on “The Ramadan Season, Muslims, and Religious Violence in Nigeria.”
Whether you are passionate about international politics, community engagement, or envisioning justice on a global scale, this conversation is for you. Open to all!
