Additionally, she is the chair of the Administrative Management Council, the organized body representing all administrative employees, worldwide. She also holds a student facing role, as an adjunct faculty member at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where she teaches project management. As a lifetime learner, she plans to soon return to the NYU School of Professional Studies, where she will complete her studies as an MS candidate in the Coaching and Organizational Consulting program. Prior to NYU, she was the Operations Director and Process Improvement Lead at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Before “earning her wings”, she was an Operations Director and Lean Six Sigma Portfolio Manager for the United States Postal Service. When not at work, Cassandra stays busy as a facilitator for her son Cameron, now an 11 year old middle schooler. Together, they are active with Boy Scouts of America, at Troop 253 in Queens NY, where Cassandra is a volunteer. In her spare time, Cassandra supports education in other ways. She is an advocate for early education, serving as a vice president for NYC DOE Community Education Council, and as a Board Member for the Courtelyou Charter School.
