As part of our ongoing “Faculty on the Road” initiative, we are delighted to announce that the Rev. Dr. Serene Jones, President of Union Theological Seminary and Johnston Family Professor for Religion & Democracy, will be delivering the 2019 Smith-Wilson Lecture at Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in the College’s Messenger Auditorium. Visitors can park anywhere on campus.

Directions to Campus

Coming into Winfield on Highway 77/Main Street

  • Turn east onto 9th Street
  • Turn north onto College Street (stoplight at the intersection)
  • You will see the Welcome Center on the right (it looks like a house)
  • Turn right onto Keyhole Drive (1st and College). You will see the campus map and visitor parking
  • Come into the Welcome Center

Coming into Winfield on Highway 160/9th Street

  • Turn north onto College Street (east side of town)
  • Follow directions as listed above from College Street.
