Join with New England Union alums, including the Rev. Kelly Gallagher ’92 and the Rev. Isaac Lawson ’07, on Saturday, March 16, 2019, to meet and hear writer, disability activist and first-year M.Div. student, Rebekah Anderson, during the morning program, followed by lunch with Union alums and current students.
Each spring and fall, the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ holds a Super Saturday event—a full-day of skill building, networking and discussing best practices. Each event offers numerous workshops, a keynote address, worship, a marketplace of vendors and ideas and an opportunity for church leaders, both clergy and lay, to network with one another. The events began in 2010 to serve as supplements to the Conference’s Annual Meeting, Super Saturdays focus on the theme from the previous Meeting.
Super Saturday is now a collaborative effort of the Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island conferences, with presenters and attendees from each conference.
All Union alums will be welcome to attend Super Saturday whether members of the UCC or not. There will be a special opportunity during the event for alums to gather during lunch.

8:00-9:00 a.m. Registration
9:00-10:15 a.m. Opening & Worship
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon Workshop
12:00-12:45 p.m. Lunch with Union alums and current students (optional)
Registration for Super Saturday will be online through the Massachusetts Conference United Church of Christ (MCUCC). On the MCUCC site, you will find an option in the form that will allow you to register at a special rate for the morning session only or the morning session plus lunch. If, however, you would like to stay for the full-day program, please choose the “Single Registration” rather than the “Union Theological Seminary” option on the form. Then please notify Emily Odom by email at [email protected] by the March 2 deadline to ensure that a place is reserved for you at the Union lunch table.
