BIOGRAPHY
Daniel (Danny) Golde is a third year PhD student in Ancient Jewish Studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary. His research focuses on the description of Rome in rabbinic literature. He is particularly interested in the way the rabbis manipulate Greek and Latin words in their texts and reinscribe them with meaning. Danny is currently compiling an anthology of stories about Antoninus and Rabbi Judah the Prince and hopes that classicists can make use of it in their curriculum.
