Haliburton Fales 2nd. Former UTS Board 1986-1994, Hal was a partner at White & Case 1959-1988 and Of Counsel 1988-1990 before retiring in 1991. Hal chaired the Nominating Committee of Union’s Board, which met at White & Case for several years.

FALES–Haliburton II, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 2, 2015. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Katharine Ladd Fales. Father of Nancy Fales Garrett of Delhi, NY, Hal Fales of Leeds, MA, Priscilla Fales of Cambridge, MA, Lucy Fales Evans of Denver, CO, and William E.L. Fales of Carbondale, CO. Brother of Timothy Fales of Paris, grandfather and step- grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather and step-great-grandfather of eight. Memorial Service Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11am in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, I82 Main St., Gladstone, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, the Morgan Library or the Women’s Prison Association.
