The Law, Rights, and Religion Project (LRRP) is a law and policy center based at Union Theological Seminary that promotes freedom of religion, religious pluralism, and social justice. LRRP imagines–and fights for–a world in which religious liberty law protects everyone without undermining other essential rights, including gender equality.

LRRP believes that religious liberty must protect everyone if it is to protect anyone, should be liberatory rather than oppressive, and should work in tandem with, rather than against, other fundamental rights. LRRP’s mission is to ensure that religious liberty laws and policies reflect these values. The Project engages in education, advocacy, coalition-building, and academic scholarship to advance a progressive vision of religious liberty.

The Law, Rights, and Religion Project is immensely grateful for your generous support. Sign up for LRRP’s newsletter here to stay in the loop on the Project’s work at–and beyond–Union Seminary.
