The RISE Together Mentorship Network founded as an initiative of Union Theological Seminary in collaboration with the WOCIM Project, is a female mentorship network that connects women of color seminary students and early to mid-career clergy to experienced women ministers, senior pastors, faculty, and community leaders. The application to apply for the second cohort of RISE Together mentees is now available. The application deadline is Friday, November 15, 2019.
Each regional cohort – New York City, NY, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Lancaster, PA, Los Angeles, CA, Nashville, TN, New England (Boston/Andover), MA, Oakland, CA and Washington, DC – will include cross-cultural, ecumenical and interdisciplinary mentors and 12-15 mentees. This is a two-year commitment, beginning March 2020 through March 2022, of female-centered community support, sisterhood and empowerment.
RISE Together cohorts, both mentees and mentors, can expect monthly face-to-face meetings, and opportunities for leadership development and spiritual formation. Every other year, in collaboration with our network partners, a National RISE Together Leadership Conference is hosted in one of our RISE Together regions.
