In 2021, congregations in The Episcopal Church continued to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing a variety of safety measures and looking to several different sources when deciding when and how they should hold in-person worship services in 2021. This report summarizes some of the most common protocols used by congregations.
This survey was conducted by the United Church of Christ (UCC) between mid-August and mid-September 2020. Results are based on 345 clergy responses and offer a glimpse into how congregations in their denomination have been impacted by the pandemic thus far.
