Trinity-Union Fellows Program Renewed for 2019-20

Categories: Press Releases

Trinity Church Wall Street (Trinity) and Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York (Union) have partnered to renew the Trinity Union Fellows Program for a 2nd year. The program, launched in 2017, brings up to six international students from China and India to Trinity and Union for one year of academic training and faith formation.

Funded by a $750,000 grant from Trinity, the second cohort of Fellows will join other students in the Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M) degree program at Union. The grant covers a full range of expenses for students, including tuition and stipend. As part of the program, students will participate in worship at Trinity, and learn about the committee structure and governance of the church. Students will also discover how Trinity’s core values of faith, integrity, inclusion, compassion, social justice and stewardship guide the church in fulfilling its mission.

Fellows who enroll in the S.T.M. program at Union will participate in advanced theological study and training that prepares them for global faith leadership.

Applications are currently being accepted, and the deadline to apply is January 15th. For more information, visit https://utsnyc.edu/admissions/financial-aid/the-trinity-union-fellows-program/.
