Resources

At Union, we stand in solidarity with impacted communities as we navigate uncertain times together. Below, you will find a carefully curated list of trusted organizations offering legal assistance, know-your-rights resources, and community support. Whether you need immediate legal help, court accompaniment, or guidance on your rights, these resources are here to assist you. We encourage you to explore the categories below and reach out for support when needed.

Emergency Legal Assistance:

  • If you are detained, you can request a free attorney through the Legal Assistance resources listed below.
  • If you have an ICE check-in and you can’t find an attorney in time, you should contact First Friends to provide non-attorney accompaniment.
  • If you have a court hearing, ask the judge for time to find an attorney. Utilize the Legal Assistance resources below to find an attorney. There might also be a friend of the court program that can provide some level of assistance.
