Each Spring, members of the Union community come together to honor our historic founding in 1836 and celebrate nearly two centuries of transformative education, theological leadership, and social impact. On 1836 Day—Union’s Annual Day of Giving—we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that a Union education remains accessible, equitable, and empowering for current and future generations of scholars.
In 2025, we are excited to continue the tradition of raising funds for student support, strengthening the Student Emergency Fund, which helps students navigate unexpected financial challenges, and investing in student-led initiatives that enrich academic and communal life.
Join us on 1836 Day to celebrate Union’s legacy and build a future where every student has the resources and support they need to lead and serve with courage, wisdom, and hope. Together, we can make an enduring impact on Union’s students and the communities they will touch around the world.
