Cone. Zachary’s research emphasis includes creative twenty-first-century conversations between systematic theology, Womanist theology, and Black Liberation theology and their relationship with the theology and ethics of his Ph.D. advisor, Dr. Gary Dorrien, and his groundbreaking work on the nineteenth-century philosophy of Kant, Schleiermacher, Hegel, Schelling, as well as Dr. Dorrien’s trailblazing work on Martin Luther King Jr. and the Black Social Gospel.
