Here at Union we understand that our climate crisis requires revolutionary change, and we support this Friday’s Climate Strike march and rally.

Students, faculty and staff who wish to participate in the activities are encouraged to do so. Participating students will receive an excused absence from class. Staff members who wish to participate may do so as part of their workday, but should discuss their plans with their supervisor. The Seminary, though, will need to remain open to preserve essential functions.

We look forward to meeting in the Quad at 10:00 a.m. for the brief service in advance of the departure to Foley Square.  We join with our fellow New Yorkers and the world in seeking justice and action for the Earth.
