This award-winning play, written by Rev. Dr. Carvalhaes, Union’s Professor of Worship, wrestles with the future of our planet. The idea was to create a play that could expose climate disasters in a way that would be received without anxiety or the heaviness of scientific analysis. A clown named Wajcha, orphan in Quechua, goes around the earth/Pachamama with a rat, experiencing several climate disasters. After a journey, Wajcha discovers he is hurting as much as Pachamama.
