Dean Kelly Brown Douglas is joining the Rev. Carter Heyward in Brevard, North Carolina for a day of preaching, dialogue, lecture, and gathering with EDS alumni/ae. Each event will be taking place at St. Philip’s in Brevard, NC and the schedule is as follows:
- 9 AM – Dean Douglas preaches
- 10 AM – Dean Douglas and Rev. Heyward dialogue on ‘What Womanism and Feminism Mean for the Church’
- 3 PM – Dean Douglas delivers a lecture on her book Stand Your Ground: Black Bodies and the Justice of God
- 6 to 8 PM – Gathering of EDS alumni/ae
